Vitriol: Carlos Santos and Paulo Raposo (live elecronics)
+
Rodrigo Amado (Sax)
Ulrich Mitzlaff (Cello)
Pedro Leal (Drums)

3 live performance pieces recorded between 1997 and 1999, introducing a Vitriol expanded ensemble format here presented and remastered for historical and (hopefully didactical) reference.

Concerts were held in different spaces from theatres to uncommon spaces. ISCTE University, Guarda new music Fesival, BDteca, Teatro Taborda, etc

The project, in its purely free improvisation approach, aimed to combine live electronics with acoustic instruments, setting or proposing an organic interweaving throughout a secret and intimate ring of sounds.

Paulo Raposo, using max/msp generative flows and Carlos Santos controlling LiSA from Steim, through a breath controller, join here in these late nineties, to a deep dive to otherness, crossing languages and methods, as not individual exprssion but rather a a step forward into a cohesive sense of colectiveness and interplay.
